2020 was the most challenging year for nearly all aspects of the events business. It has also left a deep effect on so many individuals around the world. Last year Covid forced us to postpone our whole programme beyond February. The resultant destruction of events, travel and tourism has cut deep into many companies.
However, at Francourt Events we remain positive and have drawn up plans for 2021. The continuation of our projects “World Rugby Memorial & Flame of Remembrance” and our desire to “Inspire Future Generations” remains strong. This will also be supplemented by our “Restart ‘21” project which will provide local solutions in Europe and the UK.
The Armistice International Youth Rugby Festival in Compiegne during October may prove to be one of the few international events that will take place anywhere in 2021. We have an information pack ready for participants and we are currently accepting registration of teams.
Our strategy for sport is designed to run through to the Rugby World Cup 2023 & Olympic Games 2024 in France. During the build up to these important events we will host a series of festivals for youth over the next 3 years.
Sports training camps in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. These can be sport specific or multisport.
Our Cultural and Musical programme will be expanded in France for choirs.
We are also pleased to announce our partnership with Azureva-Vacances in France who will be hosting some of our events.
We will be announcing our plans via the website and our Facebook & Twitter pages.
Finally, we are pleased to announce that our nominated charity for 2021 will be Wooden Spoon (UK)
Francourt Events wish our partners, clients and friends a peaceful and fulfilling 2021
